Favorite seafood restaurant in Guadalajara. Have eaten here close to a dozen times when living here years ago. When I come to visit my wife's family, it is always one of our stops. Worth the wait if you happen to be a little late arriving.

Guadalajara Eats 2024 #14, Mariscos #8: One of our favorite spots for mariscos in Guadalajara. We ordered a chupe* 55, torta ahogada pulpo 85, atun tostada* 65; taco blando de pulpo 52. x2 beers 45/ea The torta was great, but our friends preferred the zarandeado torta with sauce on the side because of the charred texture of the bread. My favorite was the chupe as I loved the crispy texture of the tortilla and the large shrimp were cooked to perfection. The rest of my group's favorite was the taco blando de pulpo. In addition to the above, I'd order a tostada de aguachile next time. The pulpo here is fantastic, but the quality/size/cut really depends from item to item (so sometimes you just have to get lucky). Service leaves something to be desired as it's super hectic in here, but that's totally fine. Ambiance feels very local/authentic, and I really enjoy. Only downside is it gets quite hot and you (if like me) might stick to the leather chairs :D Definitely a top spot in the city!
